Computer Technology-music video promoting good human qualities

The task is to make a music video promoting good human characteristics. There are lots of good human characteristics, for example, friendship, love, caring, risk-taking, well-balanced, nice, kind, sharing, and all the learner profiles. This task is to promote the goodness in people and to show the evil, bad people, how good people should be. Many leaders in this world have good human characteristics, like presidents, governments, policemen, firefighters, etc. All of them have good and wonderful human characteristics. Presidents and governments, they care about the citizens, about their problems, their death and birth. Policemen and firefighters also care about the citizens, except in a different way, they care about their safety and danger.

The guiding question for this unit is ‘How can we share the positive and encouraging message or to promote great human qualities?’ This guiding question means (to me) what ways we can tell the world to be better, to tell people that they should be a better person. This is quite hard actually, to answer this question, first of all, in order to promote good human qualities, we must know what is good and what is bad, good would be the IB leaner profile, to be an all-rounded person, we must at least have half of the qualities in the leaner profile. The linkage between our task and the guiding question would be that in order to do the task, we must ask ourselves the guiding question, because our task is the guiding question! Our world is never fair, there’s never shouting “It’s not fair!” when someone picked your pocket. There’s no crying “That’s so unfair” when someone tried to murder you. Because nothing in the world is ever fair. Even if we had a hypnotizing music video, that whenever someone watched it, they turn into amazingly good people, not even when everyone in the world became good and hypnotize, because that is not fair to them, right? The music video controlled them, forced them to obey, to be a better citizen, but they may not want to be controlled, but they have no choice, because they were controlled. Does that seem fair to you? So we can’t do anything to make the world a fair, perfect and good place, but we can persuade and influence the world to be perfect, to be fair, and to be a good place.
